LEX FEST

A W&L Tradition

A revived W&L tradition, Lex Fest features 2-3 up-and-coming country or rock artists for an evening of music, food, and fun

The free-for-attendance event unites the W&L student body and alumni, regardless of their background or music taste, through the common interest of celebrating the community we are so lucky to all share

With a sold out show the first year, Lex Fest created a core memory for 1,700 guests, including students, parents, professors, and alumni

Lex Fest 2025

After the success of last year’s spring term festival, GAB aims to bring even more energy to our second annual Lex Fest. 49 Winchester, Boy named Banjo and Futurebirds set the standard for the event – bringing a wide range of students together to create core college memories. The free-entry festival brought 1,700 students, parents, teachers and members of the surrounding community together at Lime Kiln, an outdoor amphitheater within the heart of Lexington, Virginia. This year, Lex Fest features three new artists – Marcus King, Colby Acuff, and The Wilson Springs Hotel. Carefully selected by the members of GAB, we expect our 2nd annual Lex Fest to perform even bigger and better. A special thanks to our sponsors, Artists in Cahoots, The Southmayd Center for American Ideals and Lime Kiln, for helping us pull off this even larger musical feat.

We are back. Lex Fest Part II. May 2nd, 2025. Lime Kiln. Doors at 5pm.
